Liver Health
October is National Liver Awareness Month.
It was National Child Health Day this past Monday.
Liver health is affected by the consumption of juices, sodas, and sugary beverages.
Many cultures have sugary beverages, and their consumption has to be controlled to avoid fatty liver disease.
Many people think fatty liver is caused by excess fat consumption. It is actually caused more frequently by the excessive consumption of sugars.
Take care of your health and your children’s health, and prevent fatty liver disease by eating more healthily: more natural fruits (juices are concentrated sugars), non-starchy vegetables: cauliflower, broccoli, leafy greens, and radishes.
